Fire Protection Plans

A Fire Protection Plan (FPP) is a requirement needed for a building to obtain its Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for a new development or change of use.


Fire Protection Plans Include:

  • Detailed narrative 
  • Architectural floor plans
  • Filed with the Dept. of Buildings
  • Floor plans show all exits, doors, corridors, and partitions serving as fire barriers.
